SX‑250T hydraulic metal briquetting press is heavy‑duty hydraulic‑driven equipment independently developed for metal recycling projects.A great number of metal recycling factories are troubled by loose metal scraps such as aluminum shavings, iron filings and copper chips. Bulk‑form materials occupy large‑scale warehouse space and bring high‑cost for long‑distance transportation. Our 250‑ton metal briquetting machine perfectly solves these problems.The feeding box internal dimension is 900×1400×600 mm. After extrusion under 250‑ton high pressure, loose metal scraps are pressed into solid 300×300×300‑mm blocks. Each briquette has high density and will not break apart during stacking and transit.The whole machine is welded with thick‑wall steel plates through full‑penetration welding process. Total machine weight reaches about 10 tons. Even under long‑time continuous high‑pressure working, the frame will not deform. This machine adopts manual‑control mode and fits well for medium‑sized scrap yards and metal‑chip processing workshops.

Complete Hydraulic Cylinder Configuration

1. Two main side‑mounted cylinders: model 325/260/150, undertake main extrusion work;

2. One bottom push‑out cylinder: model 273/220/125, pushes finished metal blocks out from the chamber;

3. One top cover cylinder: model 168/140/95, compresses materials from upper position for higher density;

4. One tipping‑up cylinder: model 146/125/50, fitted with wear‑resistant lining plate and locking structure. The lining plate can effectively reduce abrasion caused by hard metal scraps and extend cylinder service life.

All hydraulic cylinders adopt seamless steel tube and well‑known brand internal sealing parts, which greatly reduce oil‑leak failure and prolong service life of hydraulic components.

Power‑Drive System

• Main driving unit: one set of 30‑KW 4‑pole electric motor with stable output and low noise;

• Hydraulic pump: 180‑model high‑pressure oil pump matched with the whole hydraulic system;

• Control unit: manual hydraulic valve group. Workers can finish feeding, compressing and material‑ejection by operating valve switches simply;

• Oil‑tank: 600‑liter large‑capacity oil‑tank. It has good heat‑dissipation performance and effectively prevents hydraulic‑oil over‑heating during non‑stop running.

  The internal pipeline layout is reasonably arranged to reduce pressure loss of hydraulic oil and improve overall working efficiency.
