Product Description

1. Product General Introduction

Our factory independently develops and manufactures Q91 series hydraulic gantry shear, a heavy-load industrial scrap metal processing equipment widely deployed in scrap recycling yards, steel mills, metallurgical smelters, vehicle dismantling plants, metal trading stations and large waste resource recovery bases worldwide.
This gantry shear adopts vertical portal hydraulic cutting principle, replacing inefficient flame cutting, manual disassembly and small alligator shears. It can cut bulky, thick and irregular scrap metal into uniform small furnace feeding blocks in one single cycle, greatly improving hourly processing capacity, reducing labor cost and cutting loss, and lowering overall production operation expenditure for metal recycling enterprises.
We support full OEM & ODM customization. Even if customers require equipment equivalent to imported brands such as Henshel SV series, our technical team can complete 1:1 parameter matching, structural optimization and customized production strictly according to clients’ technical drawings, sample photos and working condition demands. During the whole production cycle, we supply real-time workshop photos, assembly videos and pre-delivery full test running videos for clients’ confirmation.

2. Complete Machine Structure & Core Component Advantages

2.1 Reinforced Integral Gantry Welding Frame

  1. The whole frame is assembled with thick high-strength carbon steel plates via full penetration welding, then processed by high-temperature stress annealing to eliminate internal welding stress, effectively preventing long-term heavy-load deformation, cracking and frame distortion.

  2. All internal contact surfaces of the feeding box are fully paved with NM500 high-hardness wear-resistant steel plates, which resist repeated impact and friction from scrap metal, extend service life and reduce frequent replacement cost of vulnerable parts.

  3. Quick hook-type lock side maintenance door design: no special tools needed to open the side door rapidly, convenient for replacing internal wear plates, blades and hydraulic sealing components, significantly shortening daily maintenance downtime.

  4. Reinforced slide guide rail with automatic centralized lubrication system, avoiding dry friction abrasion between sliding block and frame guide surface, stable long-term reciprocating shear movement.

2.2 High-power Optimized Independent Hydraulic System

  1. Equipped with multiple large-displacement plunger main cylinders, ball-joint cylinder connection structure to avoid radial force damage to piston rods and cylinder bodies under heavy instantaneous shear impact.

  2. Separate independent hydraulic power station layout, away from scrap impact zone, effectively protecting hydraulic pumps, valve groups and pipelines from metal scrap collision damage.

  3. Dual-stage high-precision oil filter with clogging alarm function, purifying hydraulic oil continuously, protecting cartridge valve blocks and cylinders from impurity abrasion, lowering equipment failure rate.

  4. Optional air cooling radiator or water cooling circulation system, stabilize hydraulic oil temperature under 24-hour non-stop continuous heavy load operation, prevent oil thinning and power drop caused by overheating.

  5. Integrated cartridge valve hydraulic circuit, fewer connecting pipelines, less oil leakage points, adjustable system pressure and shear speed according to different metal thickness and hardness.

  6. All hydraulic sealing rings adopt imported high-temperature resistant rubber materials, suitable for high-pressure long-time working environment, strong anti-aging performance.

2.3 Multi-function Intelligent PLC Automatic Control System

  1. Standard industrial color touch screen + PLC integrated controller, support three working modes: manual, semi-automatic and full-automatic circulation shear, one-button automatic feeding-compression-shearing cycle without repeated manual operation.

  2. Free customized multi-language operating interface: English, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, French and other local language menus, real-time fault alarm text and parameter display can be fully translated into client’s local language without extra charge.

  3. Built-in complete fault self-diagnosis program: screen directly displays fault code, fault location and troubleshooting guidance, maintenance personnel can quickly locate and solve breakdowns without complicated circuit inspection.

  4. Optional wireless remote control handle, operators can control machine running outside the feeding box for safer operation, avoid scrap splashing injury risk.

2.4 Efficient Feeding & Side Compression Mechanism

  1. Extra-long open feeding tank design, compatible with extra-long structural steel, ship plates, whole waste car frames and large bundled scrap materials, excavator direct feeding without secondary cutting in advance.

  2. Double side compression hydraulic cylinders + rear push feeding cylinder linkage design: squeeze irregular loose scrap metal into compact block before shear stroke, realize one-step forming cutting, avoid multiple repeated shear operations and greatly boost hourly output.

  3. Push feeding cylinder with buffer pressure relief function, prevent hard impact when pushing scrap to the shear blade, protect cylinder seals and blade service life.

  4. Adjustable feeding tank length, blade cutting width and material pushing stroke to match clients’ site space and raw material size characteristics.

2.5 High-strength Alloy Shear Blade Assembly

  1. Shear blades adopt integral casting high chromium alloy steel, quenching and tempering heat treatment, high hardness, strong impact resistance, not easy to crack or collapse edge when cutting thick steel plates and hard alloy steel.

  2. Four-sided usable blade design: after one cutting surface wears, rotate the blade 90 degrees to use another edge, multiply blade service life and reduce spare parts purchase frequency.

  3. Adjustable blade clearance mechanism, fine-tune upper and lower blade gap according to different metal thickness to guarantee neat cutting section without burrs and material clamping.
